Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply to a DUO subscription: access, pricing, invoicing, renewal, withdrawal, refunds, and dispute resolution.

1. Provider identification

DUO Clinical Pilates is provided by:

2. Subject matter and conclusion of the contract

A DUO subscription grants access, in the member area, to the video content of the currently published week, while the account is active, verified, and in good billing standing.

  • The contract is concluded when payment is confirmed and the subscriber receives the confirmation email.
  • You must create an account, verify your email address, and provide a valid Portuguese NIF before completing checkout.
  • Only the currently published week is available; access does not include a permanent archive of previous weeks.

3. Prices and invoicing

The prices shown on the pricing page at the time of subscription apply, across the monthly, semestral, and annual plans.

  • Prices shown are final, in euros. No VAT is added, under the exemption in article 53 of the Portuguese VAT Code.
  • Card payments are processed by Stripe on a hosted page; DUO does not store full card details.
  • An invoice-receipt is issued after each payment and sent to the email address on the account.
  • Price changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance, apply only to subsequent renewals, and can be declined by cancelling before renewal.

4. Renewal, cancellation, and end of access

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each contracted period — monthly, semestral, or annual — until it is cancelled.

  • You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the account area, without giving a reason and without penalty.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: access continues until that date and no further charge is made.
  • Deleting the account removes app access immediately and signs you out.
  • DUO may suspend access for non-payment, after notifying the subscriber.

5. Right of withdrawal and its waiver

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014 of 14 February.

  • Because this is digital content supplied without a tangible medium and starting immediately, at checkout you are asked for express consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that, by giving it, you lose the right of withdrawal.
  • If you do not give that consent, access to the content is only released once the 14-day period has elapsed.
  • If you exercise the right of withdrawal before access has started, you are refunded in full.
  • To exercise the right, contact geral@duoclinicalpilates.com with the name and email associated with the account.

6. Refunds

Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method and give rise to the corresponding credit note.

  • Refund requests should be sent to geral@duoclinicalpilates.com.
  • Refund requests are answered within a maximum of 14 days.
  • A refund does not affect the consumer conformity rights set out in Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021 of 18 October.

7. Subscriber obligations

Access is personal and non-transferable and is intended solely for your own, non-commercial use.

  • Sharing credentials, reselling access, or downloading, copying, and redistributing the videos is prohibited.
  • The content is owned by DUO and protected by copyright; the subscription grants only a limited viewing licence.
  • The subscriber is responsible for keeping the email, NIF, and other billing details up to date.

8. Content, health, and liability

The clinical Pilates videos are informational and general training material and do not replace an individual assessment, diagnosis, or prescription by a health professional.

  • Before starting the programme, consult your doctor or physiotherapist, particularly in case of injury, pregnancy, cardiovascular disease, or any other relevant clinical condition.
  • Stop exercising and seek professional support if you feel pain or discomfort.
  • The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or causes attributable to third parties.
  • DUO's liability is determined under general law; liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited is not excluded.

9. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, complemented by the processor register and the retention matrix.

  • The cookies used and the consent controls are described in the Cookie Policy.

10. Governing law, complaints, and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. In case of dispute, the courts of the consumer's domicile have jurisdiction, without prejudice to applicable mandatory legal rules.
