Online classes let you practise at home, without travelling and without depending on fixed schedules. At DUO, you follow the instructors' demonstrations and instructions through recorded classes that you can fit into your day.
Before you start
Every class tells you in advance:
- The difficulty level;
- The areas worked;
- The equipment needed;
- How long the session lasts.
Set up a space where you can lie down and move your arms and legs freely. Put down your mat and keep the listed equipment nearby.
You can follow the classes on a computer, tablet or phone or, if your device allows it, play the videos on your TV to see the demonstrations on a bigger screen.
How does a class run?
At DUO, every class follows a progression planned from start to finish. We begin by preparing the body and the breath, gradually move on to the main exercises and finish with gentler movements that help you cool down.
Can you keep up with the pace of the class?
We perform the exercises and transitions calmly, giving you time to understand the instructions, change position and prepare for the next movement.
Even so, if you need more time, you can pause the video, watch an explanation again and resume when you're ready.
You don't need to match the instructors' range of motion exactly or complete every repetition. Use a comfortable range and give yourself time to learn.
How does the weekly plan work?
Every week, we release a new set of classes, with a training plan we designed. That way, you have a set programme to follow, without having to decide, among many options, which classes to do or how to combine them.
The classes are available during that week and are replaced by the next ones at the start of a new week. This format aims to help you set aside time to practise and build a routine with continuity.
We prepare the plan; you schedule your practice around your availability.
How do you get your questions answered?
If you have questions about the instructions, breathing, an adaptation or the equipment used, get in touch with us. If an exercise causes pain or worsens your symptoms, stop it and seek individual advice.
